Alyssa is a fiction writer and teacher from Brooklyn, NY. She has a BA from Williams College and an MFA from Brooklyn College, where she was the recipient of the Himan Brown Award, a Truman Capote and a Lainoff Fellowship. Her fiction has been published most recently in Joyland and Epiphany. She has received support from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts; she is at work on a novel.
